A day that will be remembered for all MU fans and otherthanChelsea fans around the world.

Would it have proven to be a turning point in the domination of Russian money or was it just a last gasp from a dying breed of champions.

Whatever it was, it was a glimmer, a glimmer that the never-give-up attitude in Manchester was still alive.

Sure it feels lame to be like Liverpool, not having a chance at winning everything but feeling like the Champions League had been won after beating any of the rivals, and the funny thing is they are the European Champions (but everybody knows that final was rigged).


But back to a splendid performance in the 1-0 victory over Chelsea, a no nonsense tough performance in the first half, the Reds totally shut off the multi-million dollar Chelsea midfield, and with the luck of a baboon-of-a-striker-Drogba, things were even easier.

Alan Smith was bitch slapping eveybody in his zone, while Ronaldo kept running past his markers, they had no choice but to resort to rugby rules to bring him down.

But the boy wonder finally found some luck with a left-legged cross (a blind one in fact) to find the magical head of Darren Fletcher, a player criticised by his own captain, a player I think personally is Alex Ferguson's eligitimate son, a player that tried to cross the ball back with a header, but found it looping in to the top corner of the Chelsea goal by the ghosts of the Busby Babes, or to give him a bit more credit some masterclass ingenuity.


The second half was a bit more frightening seeing that Chelsea kept their shit together to create more opportunities, but it was obvious who had the greater desire between the two teams,

and the Reds were back.


Never the most skillful of teams Manunited, but they still have the biggest heart in the whole world, it's all about pushing the limits, once the new batch starts realising this, they will rule Europe and England(unlike Liverpool).
