a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away

a great many things have happened in the last few weeks

liverpool won the european cup, a useless american idol was born, a contender was put into place, i had my birthday....

but the biggest would've been the REVENGE of the SITH


it has been a long time since i've been totally engaged in a movie, maybe it had to do with some nostalgia crap coming along with star wars, but i'd prefer it that Lucas did a great job.


there could have been no one who would be able to have tied up every single detail in the saga like he could, why of course he did create all those complicated storylines anyway.


people complain about all the trivial things like,,,,,why weren't there enough wookie scenes, why did darth vader had to say NO at the end like he did, why didn't they get the voice of james earl jones, why is yoda still looking fake, why arent obi-wan and anakin not melting their boots off on the volcanic planet, why is amidala getting pregnant so fast, why didn't all the jedi get killed by darth vader himself, why do they always have corny one liners, why can't they talk like real people talk, why is the opening parts of the movie so messy, why is grevious such a coward, why does artoo have so many gadgets compared to his supposed future....bla bla (the blabble of the depressives)


my only respond to the million and one doubts would be, why the hell did you watch the movie in the first place? is it because of the obvious hype? the need to be kiasu enough to painstakingly get the first few tickets only to realise you can't get a multiple orgasm watching the show,


why pay to watch it in the cinema when you already despise Lucas' wealth and power, why make weird criticism only to be different than the crowd, not realising whether you even understood the show,


why don't people lighten up and realise that star wars is in fact a sci-fi fantasy show, it has always been like that, it has always been a world of one mind, Lucas' mind, if you didn't like what he did last time, why complain? it's not like anybody would bother complaining about say Rocky 5, or Rambo 3, or Star Trek insurrection, or Jaws 3, or Alien 4, or Sembilu 2005

it's because you already know, what the hell you are getting in for




....apart from the obvious fact that there will always exist people who seek sadness, pain and disappointment to jerk off on,,

i'm glad i had the time of my life watching it twice, can't wait to watch it more, the last bit of my childhood has already passed me by


i guess now i can seek some depression to jerk off on, too.........
